Duggan Library Brochure Redesign

Libraries hold a large amount of information, so clear navigation is essential—especially for first-time visitors. For this project, I redesigned the Hanover College library guide and map to make it more intuitive and easier to use.

The original design was a tri-fold brochure that relied heavily on decorative elements and photography. I simplified the format into a single, double-sided sheet, removing unnecessary visuals and focusing only on information users truly need. The redesign clearly introduces library services and organizes floor-by-floor functions in one place, allowing users to understand where to go without confusion quickly.

I also prioritized practical details such as hours and social media information, keeping the content concise and accessible. The color palette uses Hanover College’s blue and white to reflect the calm, focused atmosphere of the library. Overall, the redesign aims to support smooth navigation and reduce the hesitation people may feel when entering a large library space for the first time.
